We are a brick and mortar Bookshop with over 25 years in the Antiquarian & Used book business. We have over 125,000 books on 3 floors, with a small percentage (1,500) on the internet. So if you don't find it on one of the sites below you can email us Ý oldbookshop@hotmail.com ß and we will try to find it for you in our stock. There is no greater joy than perusing used books in a large Bookstore. Maybe treating yourself to an hour or so and a good book or two.

How we Purchase Books from you:
Please remember book values vary according to condition and how many copies of a book were
made. Another factor is how popular a book is. So what we can give you at any particular time may vary. Also for this reason we will need to see the books you are selling. A description over the phone is worthless. Please call to make sure someone is here that can purchase them from you. Right now we are in need of Classics, Religion, Theology, Children's books and other types of Non-Fiction.
How we Trade Books with you:
We trade for our paperback fiction in the basement, along with paperback romance and westerns on the 1st floor. Other books are sold so we can pay the rent, utilities, etc. If you have books we can purchase from you as described above you can use this amount for anything in the shop. Each book brought in is assessed on it's own merit and you are given a total for trade. The price of the book, usually in pencil on the 1st clear page is then taken from the total.
